Many questions on guppies in 10 gallon tank... (answer what you can)... HELP?

You made this a really complicated process. Guppies are simple! All you need to do is take them out completely empty the tank, clean it out, wait a while then out them back in. I have had a 10g tank full of guppies. It got to the point where there where only two but now there are at least fifty.
