San Diego!!!?

Me and my boyfriend are going to go to San Diego on the 13th through the 18th do you think 500 dollars will be good for the trip?? We live in Phoenix so its not to far about 5 hours drive so help and how can we conserve are money the right way without going overboard...Thanks need all the help we can get sence its 3 days away!!!
