Chi Infra Treatment, Will It Work On Curly Hair......??

So i need to straighten my curly hair, and when i usually straighten it it gets all frizzy and poofy once i step outside, and theres alot of humiditty where i live at...will this chi infra treatment actually work? Thanks in advance =)
