Online Dating Etiquette: Is is okay for a girl to contact guy after first date?

No I wouldn't contact him. The fact is, if a man is interested in a woman he will pursue her. It's human nature. It's ok to contact him once afterwards, but that's it. If there is no response, it's time to move on. It's not a good sign that he is on the dating site. He is making the choice to spend time on the dating site instead of working on a relationship with you. There are a lot of serial daters out there who can't settle with one person because there is so much available to them online. They aren't ready for a relationship. When you meet the right person there won't be any sitting and waiting..it goes smoothly. I should also hope that chivalry is not dead either. Equality does not mean that men can't pursue us and open doors and be gentlemen. Good luck!!
