Visa for my wife.. i don't have a co-sponsor help!!?
A friend of mine a US citizen, born and raised in the USA, wanted to marry a guy from Egypt. She had the same problem as you are having. she needed a sponsor for him or so to speak. She didn't make enough money to satisfy the government regulations. Its a money thing. Basically it boils down to this. You don't make enough to support her and yourself in your job, and if you can't do that, then she and you just become another burden on the government for your welfare...housing, food stamps medicaid ect. I know it sounds aweful, but honestly, if you can't afford to support someone then you shouldn't bring them here so someone else has to foot the bill for her daily nessesities. My friend was able to find an aunt of hers that would take finacial responsibility for him and they were married, so it can work out. "bring me your huddled mes yearning to be free" was a long time ago, and normal americans like myself are working 2 jobs just to make morgage payments, while the government takes 35% of my paycheck for taxes to pay for services like welfare and medicare for non us citizens. I have to pay another 20% of my income for my health insurance. I'm sorry you don't feel safe in her home country, but don't bring her here to be a burden on already over worked taxpayers like myself. Find a couple extra jobs, work hard save up and get her in the country yourself...you won't need a co-sponsor if your finacially stable. I don't mean to sound harsh, but its the cold hard reality of what economic times we are in, and I for one am tired of footing the bill for other people.
